COSMOS ORGANIC & NATURAL DETERGENT

Ecocert is originally a French organic labelling scheme that is internationally recognised for ensuring sustainability and transparency for the consumer. We share this approach to environmental awareness at Eco Clean – Ecocert is the certificate that maintains the highest standards for protection of the environment, and thus commits us to: Promote the use of ingredients of 100% natural origin. Use no synthetic perfumes and dyes. Declare all ingredients in the product exactly, and document the exact percentages of ingredients with natural origin and organic ingredients. Use no petrochemicals or any kind of phosphates in the products. And our high expectations not only apply to our cleaning products – our personal care offering needs to be at least as transparent. Ecocert Cosmos Organic is an Ecocert labelling scheme used for personal care products. Ecocert Cosmos Organic has the same high standards as Ecocert in relation to the naturalness of the products, but also requires at least 10% of the ingredients to be organic.

ESSENTIAL OILS

Whether it’s cleaning, laundry or soft creams, our fragrances add a refreshing scent and sense of well-being to everyday life. We put a lot of effort into our mild fragrances and ensure naturalness in scent as well as origin. The essential oils are extracted from carefully selected plants and flowers, and are easily biodegradable in nature.

To elevate the experience further, we’ve added organic Aloe Vera to our personal care range, which helps maintain the skin’s natural moisture balance. That means the skin feels supple and soft after a pleasurable encounter with our soaps and creams.

GREEN ENERGY

Bottled with green electricity

To minimise CO2 emissions as much as possible during the production of our cleaning products, our factory has the RECS certificate, which is our guarantee for green power. This certificate ensures that our products are bottled using renewable energy, which has a much lower carbon footprint than fossil fuels like coal and oil.

Eco Clean’s products use ingredients of 99-100% natural origin. Our formulas are based on natural ingredients and natural essential oils, extracted from carefully selected plants and flowers that add a natural fresh scent to the products.

PRODUCED IN DENMARK

Made in Holeby

All our cleaning products are produced in Denmark, at our factory on Lolland, located in a scenic area surrounded by windmills. Here, we have our very own Eco Clean chemist who, in collaboration with our development team in Copenhagen, creates the unique recipes in accordance with Ecocert regulations. The daily operations of the factory are managed by our dedicated team of local employees. Every day, they help ensure that Eco Clean continues to live up to its ambition to produce high-quality, effective and gentle cleaning and care products. The first Eco Clean bottle was created in the factory in 2013, and in February 2016, we finally created the recipe that earned us the Ecocert certification – a milestone in the history of Eco Clean Nordic.

RECYCLED PLASTIC

Earth is full of plastic. We have made it our clear goal to minimise the production of plastic as much as possible. That’s why we’ve made sure that all our bottles are made from 100% recycled plastic, so we don’t pollute the planet any further, but use existing resources as wisely as possible.

That’s why we work with The Vegan Society to ensure that no animals are harmed in the production and development process, and that the products are completely free of animal ingredients. So, when it comes to animal welfare, we can use all Eco Clean and Eco Care products with a clear conscience.
